This report explores the transformative impact of AI, IoT, and cloud computing on healthcare, emphasizing the development of an AI-Enabled Mobile Cloud-Based Federated IoMT Architecture for ambient-assisted healthy living. The goal is to harness these technologies for personalized and efficient healthcare solutions. The integration of AI with IoMT creates ambient-assisted living (AAL) environments, using IoT devices for real-time data collection to support independent living. The report investigates lightweight two-factor authentication frameworks for secure IoMT operation. Microservices-based IoT architectures for AAL aim to offer personalized assistance to seniors and can be integrated into smart cities to promote aging in place. Federated learning techniques enhance network intrusion detection in AAL environments, ensuring collaborative and privacy-preserving model training. Overcoming challenges such as privacy, data security, interoperability, and scalability is essential for successful implementation, promising continuous monitoring, personalized healthcare, and timely interventions. © 2025 selection and editorial matter, Hiren Kumar Thakkar, Chintan Bhatt, Victor C.M.
